Kelly McGonigal, PhD

   

Kelly McGonigal, PhD is an author, psychologist at Stanford, and educator. Her work is dedicated to the idea that hope, joy, and meaning are always available to us and that we can all find this in ourselves and help others through support and connection. Her books on willpower, stress, and movement provide a lot of support for those views. Her TED Talk on “how to make stress your friend” has over 25 million views. In January of 2020, Oprah Winfrey named her the first O! Magazine Visionary for her “unabashed belief in human potential” and her ability to transform scientific data into wisdom.” Forbes named her among 20 women to follow.
