You Are Not A Runner

You are not a runner.

Labels are everywhere. Us, them. Good, bad. Smart, dumb. Winner, loser. They arise from wanting to be, or not to be, something. They arise from clinging or aversion. Clinging and aversion are the doorways into unconscious psychological self-harm.

We can have aspirations without clinging or aversion. When aspirations are for the betterment of you and those around you, they are skillful and useful.

You are someone who runs. Maybe you run because you aspire to be a better person for yourself and those around you. And, that is enough.
