Speaking
I’ve been teaching classes of 10 to 300 students for over 20 years. I’ve been coaching for even longer. Attendee’s have commented that I’m an “engaging and entertaining speaker who brings real-world application of exercise science to runners”.
I’ve served as an expert consultant in
popular press (e.g., LA Times, TrailRunner magazine, PodiumRunner, The Walrus, Huffington Post Psychology, The Guardian, Chicago Tribune, Time, Sports Illustrated),
podcasts (e.g., Playing with Science, Podium Runner, Stryd’s Power Podcast, Cycling Science, Strength Running) and
numerous radio interviews.
I’ve also been featured in books on endurance (by Jennifer Phar Davis) and the connection between exercise and mental health (by Kelly McGonigal).
I often speak more than once in a trip, which can help you distribute the cost (e.g., speak to your running club and at a race event or to a school athletic program).
